Do you accept clothing donations?
We do not traditionally accept clothing items, due to sorting complications.  However, we do accept some winter clothing, such as winter jackets, boots, and gloves, assuming they are lightely worn and in good condition.

Do you accept appliances?
We do accept appliances on-demand, but only with a contract certifying that the donated appliance is in good working order.  Donated appliances that don't work cost us time and money to collect and dispose of, which is not fair to us or the needy families we service.

Do you accept commercial furniture items?
In general, commercial furniture items are too large to fit properly into the homes of those we service, so usually the answer is no.  However, smaller furniture items will be accepted.

Do you accept cheques for donations?
Yes.  All cheques can be made payable to Feed-A-Need Charitable Association.

Do you provide tax receipts for donations?
Yes, we provide tax receipts for donations.

Can I view the donated items before they are delivered to me?
Our warehouses do not have full-time volunteers staffing them, so in general, the answer is no.  However, we can make arrangements to accommodate special circumstances and requests.
